👌 How the ethmoid bone affects facial beauty and health
The ethmoid bone — The unpaired bone of the cerebral part of the skull, it separates the nasal cavity from the cranial cavity and has a cellular structure. ⠀
The entire facial skull is attached to the sphenoid bone, and the ‘bridge’ between the facial and cerebral skulls is precisely the ethmoid bone, the palatine bones, and the plowshare bone (the bone that forms part of the nasal septum).
⠀
And the nose and nasal septum are directly connected to the base of the skull, so dysfunctions in this area can lead to nasal asymmetry, nasal breathing problems and even ear problems (adenoiditis, eustachyitis, etc.)!
⠀
For a simple understanding of where the ethmoid bone is located, look at the bridge of your nose, between your eyebrows, and look sort of ‘deep’ into your skull (see pictures).
Have you ever noticed that this is the area where a lot of tension accumulates?
Dark circles appear in the inner part of the eye and under the eyes, horizontal and vertical wrinkles of the nose, forehead, because this is where various facial muscles are attached, and dysfunctions that come from the skull specifically violate venous outflow!
🍃 Working with this bone leads to harmonization of facial proportions, asymmetry of the nose, reduction of bruising and swelling under the eyes, reduction of wrinkles in the bridge of the nose, improvement of nasal breathing, vision, normalization of blood pressure and relief from headaches!
In addition, dysfunctions in this area lead to many problems of the facial skull, it is the “foundation” of your beauty, which is why it is so necessary to work out all the tension knots in this area ☝🏼
⠀
Look at a photo of Brigitte Bardot, see how the face literally ‘folds’ inwards? The eyes become smaller and ‘go’ inside the skull, the frontal bone overhangs, the cheekbones lose volume🔥
⠀
This is very much influenced by the ethmoid bone in particular, so without in-depth work with it you will not get a lasting result.
At the club we give you protocols for working with the whole skull. We will start working with it tomorrow at the class!
